Using the Library
Small but mighty…
The primary mission of the Rice-Aron Library is to support the teaching and learning needs of the Marlboro College community, as well as serve as the public library for the Town of Marlboro. We are also open to the general public and offer a public workstation by the Service Desk for access to email and other web applications. We also have guest wifi for personal mobile devices and visitors are welcome to find a comfy spot and use our print collections while on site.
Librarians and other staff members at the Service Desk are here to answer any and all questions, and to assist you in finding and accessing the information you need.
The Service Desk is located on the ground floor of the Library. On this floor, you’ll also find the Reference Room, the Plan Room, the A/V & Reserve Room, as well as the Writer’s Block and the Center for Experiential Learning and Global Engagement. Our circulating collection starts on the 1st floor, middle level, which also houses the main computer lab on campus, the Library’s Reading Room, and a classroom, Library 102. The second half of our circulating collection is on the 2nd floor, top level, of the Library, as well as another classroom, Library 202, and a popular group study space, Library 209.
