Academic Support Services
In a community as small and tight-knit as Marlboro’s, every one of us has an investment in your success.
A supportive learning community
Our campus resources include:
Advising & Support Services
Our staff matches students with faculty advisors and academic resources, and offers one-on-one coaching to make sure students stay on track.
The Writer’s Block
Marlboro’s writing center is staffed by students trained to provide tutoring and support for written work.
Peer Advising & Coaching
Peer advisors are current students who help first-year students transition to Marlboro, choose courses, gain crucial study skills, and make the most of campus life.
This one-hour block is set aside weekly for campus-wide faculty advising, either with individual students or as a group. No classes or events are scheduled during “ded hour.”
Our accessibility services staff manages requests for accommodation and works one-on-one with students to make sure they have equal access to Marlboro’s academic programs, campus facilities, and services.
Tutors are available for help with foreign languages, math, and science.
The registrar’s office handles course registration, academic records, and requests for name or gender identity changes on your college records.
Marlboro’s library service desk responds to quick questions and offers individual consultations by appointment, tailored to students’ specific research needs.
The Center for Experiential Learning and Global Engagement offers coaching to help students: identify potential career paths; find internships, jobs, or volunteer opportunities; polish resumes and cover letters; practice interviewing and networking; and connect with alumni in their fields of interest.
IT services at Marlboro include tech support, a general computer lab in the library, and dedicated labs for physics, music production, and multimedia/video production.
Research Grants & Scholarships
Students can apply for funding for summer research projects or internships, semester-long research, studying a foreign language, or short-term travel related to their studies.
