Application Steps

If you are not filling out the Common Application (and Marlboro Supplement), and would like to apply directly to Marlboro College, please submit the following information.

Before beginning this application, please collect the following items in a format suitable for upload (PDF, Word File, Text file or similar each file must be smaller than 2MB).

  • Transcripts from any college and highschools you've attended
  • Two Letters of Recommendation
  • An expository writing sample
  • Your "Why Marlboro?" personal statement

In addition, if you are not a U.S. Citizen, you may need a copy of the photo page of your passport, copies of any previous U.S. Visas, documentation of a green card or permanent residency.

Clery Disclosure

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires that colleges and universities publish and distribute an annual security report. This report includes campus crime statistics for the previous three years, policy statements concerning crime reporting, enforcement and emergency procedures, crime prevention, and educational training. The Act also provides for timely notice to the campus of crimes considered threats to safety. For more information, please contact the Dean of Students at (802) 258-9238.

Consistent with the federal Campus Security Act, the following questions are required. If you answer "yes" to a question, a text field will appear. In this space, please explain in detail the nature of the incident, when it occurred, and its resolution.
